In 2017, I activated my extensive experience in beauty to create the Skincarma Blog®. Over the course of my 25+ year career in beauty, I’ve had a unique vantage point – unlike any other copywriter in the industry. My work has given me key insights into all aspects of the beauty industry – branding, retail marketing, e-commerce & digital marketing, social content & strategy, education, creative ideation & execution, product formulation & ingredients and, of course, copywriting. As perhaps the most well-rounded beauty writer, I knew my voice had to be part of the broader conversation. Skincare consumers are understandably confused about which products they need, which actually work – and which are little more than marketing spin. I aim to dispel the myths and break through the noise. Content-dense and intriguing – and with a “de-influencing” tone – the Skincarma Blog sees upwards of 700 unique hits per day – without a dime of advertising.
